Send postcards and letters to BRC from the default world!

IMPORTANT CHANGE FOR 2025: We are no longer able to receive anything with a tracking number for delivery in BRC. The Gerlach postmaster can no longer handle the volume of packages that we have received in recent years and has said that he will Return to Sender any packages or other items with tracking numbers mailed to our PO Box.

This is also the case for PO9 (there is no PO6 this year) We are sad and sorry that we can no longer deliver packages (it's a lot of fun) but that's the way it is this year.

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE MESSAGE BEFORE MAILING!

We pick up mail (first class mail ONLY) several times during build week and burn week from our PO Box in Gerlach. We deliver as best we can to anywhere on the playa. We do make multiple attempts, but CANNOT GUARANTEE delivery. After the event, we return anything that has a return address, and post about the rest on our Facebook page.

Please understand that we are not postal employees, nor are we connected in any way with the USPS, beyond renting a PO Box.  Once something has been delivered to our PO Box, the USPS has done their job. Please DO NOT file complaints with them.

**INCLUDE IN THE ADDRESS:
- Name of Recipient (both real name and playa name is best)
- Camp Name
- Camp Address (e.g. 2:31 and E, mountain-side – be as specific as you can*)

c/o BRC3PO
PO BOX 265
Gerlach NV 89412

You must include the C/O (care of) or the postmaster will reject the mail.

Include your return address in case the recipient isn't where you expected, left early, forgot their name, etc.

Do NOT send drugs, no matter where they are legal. Assume all packages are drug-sniffed.

And again - NO PACKAGES AND NOTHING WITH A TRACKING NUMBER

If you need to have an important package sent to you during the event (e.g. medication, glasses, car keys), you can have it sent to General Delivery, Gerlach NV 89412, and you will have to go into town yourself to pick it up, as the postmaster will require a photo ID. There is a fee to exit and re-enter the event.

** Be as specific as possible with the BRC address, especially for a camp that is not placed or will not have a big sign identifying it. For example, use “man-side” or “mountain-side” (if you know or can find out) to designate which side of the lettered street it is on. If it is on a corner, also use 2:31 or 2:29 to designate which side of the numbered street it is on (if you know or can find out). You can also use other identifying information, like “under the big pink parachute”, or “serves hot dogs and kombucha every afternoon”.
